MQBについて調べてみた（１）

MQBを理解するために、
いろいろ調べてまとめてみた。

MQBの定義

The Volkswagen Group MQB platform is the company's strategy for 

shared modular construction of its transverse,
front-engined, front-wheel drive automobiles.
Beginning in 2012, Volkswagen Group has marketed the strategy
under the code name MQB, which stands for Modularer Querbaukasten,
translating from German to "Modular Transversal Toolkit" or
"Modular Transverse Matrix".

MQBとは Modularer Querbaukasten
モジュラーアー・クアーバオカステン
（文中では形容詞の語尾が変化する）

英語では　Modular Transverse Matrix

ドイツ語だと
「モジュール式の　横型の　積木」
なので、

「横置エンジンにおける積木式モジュール」

とでも訳すか。
モジュールとは、組み合わせできる、交換可能な要素のことである。
